The Danish National Guard used to have around 70,000 members, but as of the time these pictures were taken, has about 15,000. The members have been called all sorts of things over the years including weekend warriors, political extremists in training, and trigger happy Danes; however, I found mostly “Mr. and Mrs. Denmarks” who were attracted the military atmosphere.
